Today was a big day. It was the first day Matt and I cut the boys hair on our own. Here are the last pictures of my precious babies' gorgeous hair, and then of course, there are afters.

The Reveal!
I think this haircut made James look like an older little boy.
I think this haircut made Ethan look more like he did when he was a baby.
They are so handsome.
Ethan and James are growing up so fast. I will be capturing the memories here with a photo each day.

The boys woke up in such a sweet mood. James stood looking out the window, and Ethan stole my hair towel and wore it as a toga. LOL! And that evening, they were so cute, playing in their room with their trucks. :)

And James told me he'd had enough of the camera. :) Mommy, the paparazzi.

I was pretty sick this week, so Daddy was a total superhero, to the boys and to me :) I still managed to get all my photos taken in spite of feeling so badly. I'm just really happy I can be around the kids now, not sectioned off in my room, or limited time behind a camera.

I tried to get pictures of the boys this day, but we were all sick. So I got a cute picture of James, and the evening fell apart. As Matt and I sat watching CopOut (Not horrible - I know, what a ringing endorsement) I realized, we put the kids to bed without me getting a picture of Ethan. So, I snuck in their room, turned on the flash, and got pictures of them sleeping. After last night, being up all night coughing, and consoling my little coughers, it is nice to look back at a night they were sleeping a bit easier.
And I know this is random, but I made Omelets that morning. And with no effort, cutting, or molding, I managed to make an Omelet in the shape of Moby Dick. I had to post the picture.

I love when the boys are playing with their cars and stuffed animals. Such proper cute little guys.
Ethan (2011 Day 22) Playing with his giraffe that he got as his first Easter present from Grandma and Grandpa.
James (2011 Day 22) This kid just loves cars.
As they get older, they play together more. :)

Could you imagine the life of a mother of 2 Jedi Knights? No lightsabers at the dinner table.

Finally a day where everyone is feeling good. Hopefully days like this can last throughout the year. My fun and lovable guys were back with tons of energy.
Ethan (2011 Day 20) - obviously feeling better.
James (2011 Day 20) - and he was so kind to let Mommy see if this sweater vest still fits. Horrible outfit. Sorry little man.
Ethan - I thought they didn't get all touchy about making private phone calls until the teenage years. But displayed by Ethan talking to Lighting McQueen in his closet behind the diaper boxes, I am mistaken.
James pushing his firetruck. But don't tell him it is a firetruck. He will yell at you, "CAR! CAR!" Get it right!

Another sick day in the Ellsworth House. The boys got a good bath, and I figured most photos look great when they are taken in black and white, so I switched to B&W mode and made some easy masterpieces.

Ethan was sick today and had a high fever. It was a rough day, so I didn't invest a lot of time in my pictures today. My poor baby was so miserable. I always feel bad when one of them is sick and the other one wants attention. It is so hard to give both my babies the attention they deserve.

What a stressful day. First off, our dryer is broken, and I had to call the repair guy, but before that, my Dad had to check it out. Luckily he had the 2 most adorable little helpers ever! And if Mommy wasn't stressed enough, they made a mockery of dinnertime. Oh well. I guess I can give them a break since they aren't even 2 yet.
